We’d mentioned the opportunity to get in on the ARBA Memphis Blues Challenge awhile back, and now the lineup for the 2 SA heats is finalised and raring to go in June!
The ARBA Memphis Blues Challenge aims to find the best possible blues acts to represent ARBA, South Australia and Australia in Memphis Tennessee, at the International Blues Challenge (IBC) each year.
The winners of each category of “Band” and “Solo/Duo” will represent ARBA, South Australia and Australia at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis in the last week of January 2016.
In the running are Cal Williams Jr, Lazy Eye, Benny C & the Associates, Ciaram Granger, Dusty Lee’s Wasted Wanderers and more.
Come along on Friday 19th June and Sunday 21 June at the Semaphore Worker’s Club, and enjoy the heats, raffles, auctions and more.
We’ve got some great blues in this town – let’s help get them to Memphis!
