The Wheaty Turns Five!
Join the good people at the Wheatsheaf Hotel on Tuesday May 27th for a relaxed beverage and cranking open fires as they celebrate 5 years of glorious live music, tasty drinks and friendly folks.
As always no bells or whistles, just good beer, wine and whisky as only the Wheaty knows.
Mo' Roots will be helping everyone to wet the whistle from 8pm, so you can get up close and personal with Snooks La Vie and Brother T of The Hiptones . These two principal songwriters from this band dig deeper into their musical roots and present some new Hiptones material. They tell stories and sing songs penned by the greatest songwriters and singers of all time - including Al Green, Bill Withers, Curtis Mayfield, Marvin Gaye, Sam Cooke, Otis Redding, Jimmy Cliff and Ray Charles.
So come catch one of Adelaide's best acts at 'home' at the Wheaty that evening - but remember, it's the 26th all day so pop in anytime...
