hepfest to help fight against hepatitis c

AHCS (Australian Hepatitis C Support) is turning up the volume and the fight against Hepatitis C, so it's time to get your happy face and music shoes on. Get down to the Bridgeway Hotel on Sunday 2 October for a huge gig, featuring 9 live bands and Channel 7's Tim Noonan as MC.

HepFest came about due to the passion and tireless effort of Linda McInnes, who contracted Hep C through domestic violence and wanted to organise this concert to raise awareness and to break down barriers and associated stigma with the disease. She thought music would be a great way to do this. This is a story about a woman who had a dream based on her own journey. She has made this happen with no professional experience, but simply with the help of friends in organising an event of this size.
