oxford comma offers indie, all ages, and live
Oxford Comma is Adelaide's newest Indie night with live bands and Transmission DJs.
This new night aims to give teenagers the opportunity to be part of Adelaide’s live music scene and in turn help underage bands showcase themselves to a wider audience.
Don't miss the launch party on Friday 16 September at Higher Ground, with the The Shiny Brights headlining and introducing some of Adelaide’s best up and coming underage bands.
Brazen Kids of York is a 4 piece from Adelaide. The Brazens delivers disco pop tunes deeply influenced from bands like Bloc Party, Foals and Two Door Cinema Club blended in with a combination of male and female lead vocals, and influenced by bands like Stars and The XX.
iCYU is a new fresh dynamic 4 piece from Adelaide that captures audiences instantly with their melodic hooks, and The Radicalites is a three piece indie pop band who are ready to showcase their talent.
As well as Adelaide's best up and coming bands, Transmission DJs promise an extensive play list of indie favourites, such as Bloc Party, The Strokes, Phoenix, Two Door Cinema Club, The Drums, Joy Division, The Wombats, Passion Pit, Darwin Deez, Foster The People, Kasabian, Kings of Leon, Foals, Vampire Weekend, Bowie, The Naked and Famous & More....
