roots rock and reggae return to higher ground

The Adelaide Rootz Fest is back and is even bigger!

It's time for all you reggae dancing, peace loving, world music driven rockers to get yourselves ready for Adelaide's favourite roots, rock and reggae festival, returning to Higher Ground in April.

The last few festivals have been nothing but good vibes and happy crowds, so due to popular demand The Adelaide Rootz Fest III has been announced. The January Root Fest showcased six of Adelaide's top acts, rocking it with a crowd of 200+, in a venue with nothing but positive energy. "That's what reggae music and all good music does to you," said the organiser, " it lifts your soul and so people want to experience more."

What can only be described as an enjoyable and exciting night out, Adelaide Rootz Fest III has returned with another impressive and explosive line-up. Adelaide's very own reggae giants Babylon Burning will headline the event alongside The Timbers and Kineman Karma. Also sharing the stage will be Seneoz (Adelaide's finest African drumming and dance group) and The Cinnabar Red Dance Collective, who return to perform their new epic show "Ruby Dhatura". Rounding out the lineup are Minority Tradition, Kicking Beyond Matter, The Living Prophets, The Good The Bad & The Funky and DJ Dubwise.

If Reggae/roots/rock is your thing, you will not be disappointed by this local festival, so get your tickets quick.
