Sand City is back bigger and better in 2012!

What better ways can you think of spending Australia Day kicking back on the sand having a few Coopers Clear Frosties, Refreshing Bulmers Cider, Midori Punch or Throw down a few Jager Drinks listening to the best JJJ tunes of 2011?

With live music by two hot acts ILLY and OWL EYES as well, then the City Beach Volleyball Courts - Corner Pirie St & Frome Road, is the place to be in Adelaide on 26 January 2012.

Illy's Sophmore Album The Chase (2010) received glowing reviews from all corners (one of the countrys best hip-hop releases J-Mag) and catapulted them to the forefront of the greater Australian music community. The album premiered as triple js feature album the week of its release, and lead single It Can Wait (feat. Owl Eyes) took music lovers by storm, being voted in at 29 in the stations Hottest 100 count for 2010.

Building on the foundations laid by last years debut EP Faces, Owl Eyes work in 2011 has seen her star rise at a frighteningly rapid pace. Touring with indie heroes Darwin Deez and Lissie, keeping a notably high profile with youth broadcaster triple j, as well as maintaining a feverish touring schedule of her own, what started out as a cult following is quickly turning into something much, much bigger for the fledgling songstress
