Thursday July 10 – PA Basics
Do you need to learn how to set up and operate a small PA for a band? This 3 hour session will teach you how. 4.00 – 7.00pm. $10 per participant.
Friday July 11 - Hip Hop
Join local MC and Producer LEGACY for this Hip Hop based 1 day workshop that will teach song writing, production and vocal techniques. 10.00am – 1.00pm. $20 per participant.
Tuesday July 15 – Jam Night
Join us for the monthly NSS Jam Night. The musical backline is provided, so you just need to turn up and bring your instruments. Free entry. 7.00-10.00pm.
Thursday July 17 – Baby Diva
Especially created just for girls aged 7 to 11 years old who LOVE TO SING! Under the guidance of teacher/singer/songwriter Dani Vadoulis, your little diva will shine! Our fun, supportive workshop allows them to learn a favourite song, record it onto a CD and take it home to play to you! 1.30 - 4.00pm. $25 per participant

Saturday July 19 – Northern Elements Hip Hop Show
NSS presents Northern Elements – an opportunity for local Hip Hop artists to take to the stage and showcase their skills.
Wednesday July 23 – Wednesday November 5 – Certificate 1 and 2 in Music Industry (Foundation)
Whether students are performance, technology or business focussed, Certificate 1 & 2 @ the NSS allows all students from a range of learning levels to gain accreditation, skills and experience in a practical, relevant and exciting project based course devised personally to suit their needs. Monday July 28 – Monday August 11 – Introduction to GarageBand
Want to learn how to use GarageBand? This three week course will teach the basics required to understand the program. GarageBand is a miniature digital audio workstation (DAW) which can record and play back multiple tracks of audio. GarageBand can play virtual software instruments for creating songs or playing music live. Bookings essential as limited places are available. 6.00-8.00pm. $50 per participant.
