prepare to party! scorcher has bands, bands & more great bands!

SCoRCHeR FeST has all your party needs under control. You can choose whether you are celebrating the coming of summer, the end of exams, over 10 touring bands coming to Adelaide, 30 of Adelaide’s own original acts, or just a live music discovery in a great party atmosphere. Last SCoRCHeR in Adelaide saw The Duke of York hold its 5th SCoRCHeR & its 3 areas reach capacity at around 5 in the afternoon.

Locals, “These Wild Animals” currently hold number 1 overall song on the Triple J Unearthed charts with “Lay Down Bonnie”. This follows a 2 week stint at number one with “Power” and the band has been inundated with further opportunities. This will make SCoRCHeR FeST interesting, as they had people squeezing in to see them play last festival, and they'll play the beer garden this time round.

Sydney indie rockers Crossing Red Lines have been a SCoRCHeR FeST crowd favourite at their Sydney and Sunshine Coast shows, and are looking forward to treating their Adelaide based fans. CRL were also a favourite among Sunshine Coast Radio leading up to the show, and have been likened to the early Clash, while executive producer Marshall Cullen has suggested that in CRL, we might have the Aussie version of "Artic Monkeys".

With act genres and backgrounds being so diverse, you have a lot to choose from to build your own selection of bands to check out. Head to the The Duke of York on Sunday 27th November for all the action.
