soundwave revolution = cancelled
In breaking news on 9 August, it was announced that Soundwave Revolution has been cancelled, according to an interview on Nova 969 (Sydney) with the event's promoter AJ Maddah. Reasons given include the pull-out of the second biggest headliner.
Soundwave Revolution's official website now contains the following notice:
“It is with great sadness that we announce the cancellation of the Revolution Festival. Many of the festival bands will still be coming to Australia in that time period and team up to bring you some very special shows. These will include multi band/mini festival line-ups in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne. We will be announcing these events in the next 7 days. Tickets purchased online will be refunded automatically as soon as it can be processed. If you purchased from an outlet, refunds will be available next week from point of purchase.

These all-stars head to Adelaide on Saturday 1 October, and Adelaide pre-sales open this Friday 27 May at 9am. Please note, these pre-sales are for 'Festival Members' only, and to be eligible for the Soundwave Revolution members’ pre-sale you must be signed up to the mailing list on the Festival website soundwaverevolution.com or an existing member of Soundwave Festival.
General Public ticket sales will be available from Thursday 2 June, 9am AEST through soundwaverevolution.com, oztix.com.au and oztix retail outlets.
