CandidaThrough generous sponsorship and council approval, Candida decked out a Band Wagon for the Adelaide Fringe. If you spotted a truck with a four piece band on the back driving round Adelaide, that was the one! Candida performed, while moving, on the streets of the CBD on March 6th, with the main route heading from West Terrace to East Terrace via Hindley Street, Rundle Mall and Rundle Streets. They eventually made their way to East Terrace at the hub of the Fringe Festival for a final set performance. The Band Wagon was a lead-up to Candida's uber-party spectacular CD launch (March 22nd) at the brand new Channel Nightclub with Jb-Smak and Grubenstyle supporting. And in case you hadn't heard... the lead singer (Neil Thompson) is a new player/addition with a history of performing as part of international export giants The Cat Empire!
