new monthly club 'rockin rocks' - bands wanted

“Rockin’ Rocks!” A new monthly rock club will launch January 6th in Bar 3 at Enigma bar. The night will showcase local and interstate talent and feature members of local bands spinning their favourite rock tunes.

This club is an initiative of new not for profit organisation, Adelaide Rock Army, dedicated to reviving and maintaining a thriving local rock scene in Adelaide, founded by Mayqueen front man and manager, Trevor Griffin.

The Adelaide Rock Army will include a street team of promoters using flyer drops and guerrilla marketing techniques to promote local bands and their shows at major touring events and concerts. The other component of the street team will be the specialist “Party Starters” who can be requested by bands to come to their shows and mingle with the crowd, hand out promotional material and attempt to loosen them up and get into the music by leading by example.
