NEXT INFORMATION SESSION
The first round of funding for the Contemporary Music grant program closes on Friday 4th May.
This round is to fund projects and activities that begin after the 1st of July this year.
The 2012 Funding Handbook is now available from Arts SA and lists the dates for all rounds this year, together with eligibility criteria and category information. DOWNLOAD HERE >>

LATEST GRANT RECIPIENTS
The South Australia Government, through Arts SA’s Contemporary Music program, has approved funding for 11 South Australian musicians including Aria-nominated The Shaolin Afronauts, totalling more than $46,000.
The 11 successful applicants, which include composer and violinist Alies Sluiter and The Salvadors, touted in 2010 as a Band to Watch by Rolling Stone Magazine, were selected from 28 applicants in the November funding round for projects commencing in January.
Arts SA supports the local contemporary music sector with grants that span opportunities such as touring, recording, professional development, marketing and distribution Grants are available to both emerging and established contemporary musicians.
The latest round of Contemporary Music grants has allocated $46,315 among the following recipients.
