MusicSA & Fat City Announce Sponsorship
MusicSA is pleased to announce one of Adelaide's best recording, disk manufacture & production studios 'Fat City' as a new sponsor of the website. To celebrate, Fat City offering special deals to SA artists through MusicSA, in addition to their ongoing involvement with our Local Loyalty card program.
Many Adelaide bands would be familiar with City Dub, Fat City's disk manufacturing service (ie getting your CDs pressed) as an SA institution. But what you may not know is that they also have a world class recording studio and digital media facilities. Fat City are now the only place in SA where you can record your songs AND produce a video clip all in the one place!
Located in the CBD, next door to the new Channel 10 building on Hutt and Wakefield, Fat Trax has been creating some of the best sounds in town for over 15 years. Now under new ownership, but still retaining their resident sound engineer, Matt Williams, the studio continues to provide musicians with the support and assistance that has been the foundation of this successful Adelaide icon.
Fat Trax has recently agreed to a generous sponsorship deal with Music SA that will assist in the development of musical talent from South Australia.

This sponsorship is great news for Music SA (as we cannot exist without the support of the SA industry) but it also means great news for bands and artists.
As part of this sponsorship Fat Trax is offering a $100 discount to bands using the studio for the first time. The discount will be deducted from the first day’s recording only and brings the standard day rate which is currently $650, to only $550 with the $100 discount. Subsequent recording days will be charged at standard rates.
