Support Act is a registered charity which was formed in 1997 to provide relief and assistance to members of the Australian music industry who are in need or suffering hardship, illness or distress. It was founded by the music industry's peak bodies ARIA, APRA, AMCOS and PPCA and raises funds through events and its members. Support Act has active State Groups, including one in SA.

An invitation to all Daisy’s Debonairs:
The last Debonair's Luncheon of the year - and Xmas Celebration - is on Sunday 18 December at The Arkaba from 1pm - 6pm.
As a special treat, the event is also host David 'Daisy' Day's 60th Birthday celebration!
There will be live performances, plus the announcement of the next singer/songwriter winner for the second half of the year.
Entry $10.00 as usual, with money raised going to SUPPORT ACT.
Meals and snacks will be available at the venue.
A message from David Day: "We look forward to seeing all of our members at the luncheon and please, if you have friends in the industry who would like to participate, invite them to come with you, to what will be an amazing insight into the lives of many of the people who have sustained and created the landscape to our lives - our world of music."

About the SAMHF:
South Australia has a rich musical history in all forms of music, it has had an Annual awards night for some time, but never a home to celebrate and honour the award winners.
The South Australian Music Hall of Fame is a project to establish a multi- purpose function centre that displays and presents a tribute to South Australia’s rich musical Heritage. The venue to be a home for The South Australian Music Hall of Fame awards, catering for all musical genres and tastes. To create a venue that will become the home for all musicians and industry people, both local and visiting South Australia to meet, eat, drink, play and socialize. Further to this, the SAMHF will provide ongoing assistance to Support Act Ltd, the music industry benevolent fund, in its fundraising efforts.
