A fresh, inspiring and raw show case of talent has emerged in the Adelaide hip hop scene.  At such a young age, with a large amount of talent, Dialect is the hip hop artist to look out for. Dialect and Adelaide music producer Despair have come together to produce their debut album The Vortex and are pushing the boundaries of hip hop Australia.

The Vortex, released by: Uknowho Records demonstrates a unique combination of intelligent lyrics entwined with an element of life lessons. Their cutting edge lyricism with an ingredient of classic hip hop makes the duo more than just your average hip hop artists.

Their sound can de described as authentic hip hop with melodic beats and timeless drum work. They draw on elements from the pure hip hop 90s era with a distinct modern feel. The sound remains progressive throughout the album and demonstrates Dialect’s remarkable freestyling ability. The album also features guest appearances from Delta, Social Change and Motion.

It is straight forward hip hop that never misses a beat, the unique sounds of '70s soul music is scattered through out the album and gives it a fresh vibe. It is classic hip hop culture and has set the bench mark high for their hopeful future albums.

The album Vortex is an innovative new addition to Australian hip hop and will no doubt develop a loyal following. Adelaide has once again produced a hip hop artist that will hopefully be widely recognised for their lyrical talent and classic hip hop beats. A star in the making!
