east coast tour with paul grabowsky

The Baker Suite have been busy writing new songs, and will be playing some winter gigs in Adelaide as well as a tour along the east coast.

John Baker has been collaborating with Paul Grabowsky on some songs, and recently performed in Melbourne with Paul's Jazz Quartet and a 23 piece chamber orchestra.  This was the world premiere of the soundtrack to a Fred Schepsi film for which Paul has written the soundtrack. The film is The Eye of the Storm - based on a Patrick White novel and will be released in 2012.  John wrote the lyrics to the theme song of the movie and this will be a feature of the band's July/August tour with Paul.
