Alison Hams is now recognised as one of Australian country music’s most professional and versatile performers.
Already known for her colourful onstage appearance and fine musicianship, in 2004 Ali has launched her new all-original album “Daisy Trainâ€.
This project is seeing her commercial songwriting abilities clearly showcased, and her public profile expanding rapidly with features in the radio and print media’s – and a recent live performance on Bert Newton’s “Good Morning Australia†television show across Australia on the TEN network.
Alison’s musical journey has seen her make an exploratory trip to Nashville in June 2000 - performing in a number of venues - and be a finalist in both the T.I.A.R.A and TSA awards in Tamworth 2002. In Tamworth in January 2003 Ali was a Grand Finalist in TOYOTA STAR MAKER – arguably Australia’s greatest professional talent search.
As a proudly South Australian-based artist, Ali has also won a prestigious S.A.M.I (South Australian Music Industry Award), and performed at the Young Australian of the Year awards at the Adelaide Hilton International in November 2001.
Alison has supported many major recording artists including Lee Kernaghan, Adam Harvey, Kasey Chambers, Beccy Cole, Adam Brand, co written with Gina Jeffreys – as well as maintaining a regular programme of appearances with her band, and as a solo artist at major festivals like the Tamworth, Mildura and Gympie Country Music Festivals.
Also a graduate from the CMAA College of Country Music, Alison and her music are making a real impression on industry powerbrokers – and some very exciting prospects are currently on the horizon, including an endorsement deal with innovative American guitar company, DAISY ROCK.
The success of “Daisy Train†is also continuing – with audiences everywhere reacting immediately to Alison’s unique blend of vocal, instrumental and songwriting excellence.
