After almost a decade of lying dormant, four piece Adelaide based garage punk-rock band, All Flight Crew Are Dead, rose phoenix like from the ashes to support Buzzcocks, for the second time, in September 2006. Following a triumphant return to the stage the band reformed as an on going concern, releasing the first of the ‘postcard’ double A-side series of singles, “On The Radio” / “Teenage Love Affair” in October 2007. Described by Rip It Up Magazine as “two cracking songs that Radio Birdman would love to get their mitts on”, the single reached 5 on the 3D-FM Top 20 + 1 charts and received frequent airplay on NOVA-FM.
With the recruitment of a sharp new drummer, AFCAD returned to the studio in May 2008 with unprecedented levels of enthusiasm to put down postcard nos 2. With Dr Anj of Capitalsound Studios at the recording helm and mastering taken care of by Crystal Mastering (Melb), "Last Beat" / "Like Ice" is a blistering, raucous slab of garage rock mayhem.
