Inspired by the close harmony of the Everly Brothers, Andy & Marta are a captivating duo who have created their own unique blend of folk, country and acoustic-pop. Andy is an award winning singer- songwriter who has lived and breathed music all his life and is well known in Adelaide from 10 years of writing and performing on Channel 7’s children’s show “The Book Place”. Marta, following in the footsteps of Emmylou Harris can ‘spot a harmony a mile away’ …..and when the voices of these two blend you can feel the magic in the air. Since they joined forces Andy & Marta have been going from strength to strength, releasing their debut album "Harmony of One" in late 2009 and a follow up live album "Platform Soul" in 2010. Both releases have received regular airplay on local Adelaide radio stations. Since playing their first gig in 2009 they have cultivated a strong following on the Adelaide folk circuit, getting a great response to their debut at Willunga Fleurieu Folk Festival 2010 and regularly playing popular Adelaide venues like The Wheatsheaf Hotel and SA Folk Centre.
