"As a composer, I write for TV and cinema using a variety of styles. As a songwriter, I prefer using modern rhythms with a lot of energy. As a singer, I am immersed in Russian traditional romance. But all my music has soul filled with love"

 

Anna Buntovnikova is a singer, screen composer and sound designer. She was born, has trained and has worked in Moscow, Russia. 4 years ago she married to an Adelaidian and came to Australia for good. She has made music for more than 120 short animated films, fiction films, documentaries, TV programmes and commercials; and made more than 150 songs. She has also preformed in a number of styles in Russia and continues to perform here. Music and songs of Anna Buntovnikova are in air of Russian and Israel National and commercial TV Channels. Films and TV programmes with her music and songs were screened in Russia, Israel and USA. Here, she has already started to collaborate with a local TV channel and film makers. In 2006 she was a participant of Silent ReMasters project and made a new sound track for a legendary “The Gold Rush" by Charlie Chaplin.

 

"At the moment, the most important thing for me is to find contacts and collaboration with other SA musicians.

 

Also, I am looking for contacts with Australian film and TV makers, because I really understand how image sounds.

 

And of course, I am always open for any offers to show what a Russian traditional song is."
