The Audreys Biography

The Audreys

Genre: Roots

The Audreys are one of South Australia's finest exports. They formed in 2004 and made their start in clubs and pubs around Adelaide before making a trip across to Melbourne to record their debut with producer Shane O'Mara. The album, "Between Last Night and Us", was released in February 2006 on ABC/Warner and went on to collect that year's ARIA Award for Best Blues & Roots Album.  The band seem to be touring endlessly and have appeared at a swag of festivals both in Australia and Canada, where they are signed to roots label True North Records.

2008 sees The Audreys release their much anticipated sophomore album, "When The Flood Comes", which is bound to win them new fans and cement their reputation as one of Australia's finest outfits.

The band are:
Taasha Coates - voice, piano, ukulele
Tristan Goodall - guitars, banjo
Mikey G - violin, lapsteel guitar
Lyndon Gray - bass
Toby Lang - drums
