Bridge Arcadia is the new offering from previous members of SA's Fifty Two (2005-2008). 2008 brought a new line-up change and a progressive yet distinct change to an old sound, mixing alternative music with a rock feel.
A new Passion brings a new sound and with their debut EP “Static in Stereo” Bridge Arcadia is ready to make an impact.
Through their time as Fifty Two the band made a modest impression on the SA music scene through sharing the stage with some Great Australian acts including Grinspoon, Something with Numbers and Kid Courageous.
With a string of live shows, dedicated fans and two demo cds behind them, Fifty Two decided a new mature approach to music was necessary. So leaving behind the legacy, the remaining members began an on-going process, focusing on writing new songs and creating new vibes within the band, creating “Bridge Arcadia”.
Bridge Arcadia worked tirelessly over the first 9 months of 2008 writing songs for “Static in Stereo” and scrimping and saving money to ensure a professional and outstanding result could be accomplished.
Recording at Capital Sound Studio with Engineer Simon Giuliani and Producer Dan Jones mid September, Bridge Arcadia recorded their debut EP “Static in Stereo”
Having the recording Mastered by West West Side Music in USA the end product turned out much more than the boys anticipated. With “Static in Stereo” now available Bridge Arcadia are hungry to return to the stage and show people they are the real deal!
With a hard work ethic and aspirations to have their music listened to by all Bridge Arcadia’s next challenge lies in promoting and grasping at possible opportunities to push their music on people everywhere.
