4 December 2011, Grace Emily Hotel, FILM CLIP LAUNCH!!

NEXT GIGS:

Sunday 4 December 2011 - Film Clip Launch at Grace Emily Hotel
Details  https://www.facebook.com/events/296370293713843/

This will be an EXTRAVAGANZA, featuring of course the 'big reveal' of the video clip for Brillig's 2011 single, "The Hearse Song."

We've talked about it for months, but we can tease you with a few more details... So - looks like we have a drunk cowboy, dancing gypsy, badass bandit, toff but terrified couple - and a band in black, with sinister smirks.   What the heck is going on??  Heh heh heh.

As well as screening the clip (duh!), the evening's entertainment includes:

 - live set by Self Preservation Society (aka Tristan Newsome, aka 'Shopkeeper' in our clip)

 - special exhibition "Decadence and Decay: Photography of Tailem Town" by Jackie Badseed (aka Artist Extraordinaire, aka 'Madam' in our clip)

 - speeches by Subsconscious Studios (aka Legends, aka the clip's multi-talented filmmakers Andrew Shanks, Daniel Vink and David Gregan)

 - live set by Brillig (aka our 1st non-Festival show in SA since March!)

Hear "The Hearse Song" for the 1st time LIVE (!), as well as ALL our NEW Cowboy Murder Ballads, highlights from The Red Coats LP, perhaps an old fave.... (*cough* -Tarantino-inspired *cough*),  We're also dressing up the stage - those familiar with our previous Fringe shows will recognise it - certainly fits the theme of the night.

 - 'Death Disco' afterparty in the front bar, hosted by Brillig's own DJ Chez D (aka bass badass Denni Meredith), spinning a handpicked collection of spooky 'n' kooky 'n' dancy death-inspired tunes.

All of this - FREEEEE Entry - at our spiritual home the Grace Emily Hotel,
and it's an early night, kicking off at 6pm.

 We. Can't. Wait.

Sunday 4 December 2011
Grace Emily Hotel (232 Waymouth St Adelaide)
Doors 6pm for 6:30; Free Entry
