I grew up in a country town on the coast of South Australia but I’ve spent much of my life travelling, across Australia and across the world. My music reflects both my country roots and the different people and places that I’ve experienced. It is a raw acoustic style that combines strong, challenging and positive lyrics. In 2006 I recorded a Four-Track EP, Find Your Escape. Two of these songs entered the 2008 UK Song Writing Competition, the title song Find Your Escape was Highly Commended and Fall for You won through to the semi-final. I’ve played at pubs, cafes, schools as well as local and fundraising events such as Make Poverty History Concert in 2008. On my latest recording I’m accompanied by strings, drums and bass, as well as backing vocals. Combining these harmonies with my acoustic, folk-based sound, I hope that it will inspire listeners from all walks of life.
