Double Dragon herald the return of heavy metal to Adelaide with a sound that incorporates the finest elements of classic rock and metal with touches of thrash, death and hardcore. The bands influences range from classics like Iron Maiden and Judas Priest through to bands such as Slayer, Faith No More, Carcass and Pantera, as well as contemporary acts like In Flames, The Used, Avenged Sevenfold and Killswitch Engage.

Within the past year Double Dragon's lineup has solidified to now include ex UndaMynd vocalist Lee Gardener and ex ThreeChainBreak guitarist Ben 'Moif Dog' Murphy, alongside core members, ex Screwface:13 guitarist Matt 'Roads' Johnston, Jason 'Jase Bass' Moon on bass and Dan Busch on drums. Together they create a brand of heaviness laced with melody unlike anything previously heard in Adelaide.

After gigging solidly for the second half of this year with the likes of Later That Night, Enemy Of?, The Jonestown Syndicate, Flesh Mechanic, Deadlock and The Rivalry, as well as an interstate jaunt to Melbourne with Truth Corroded, Contrive and Through Closed Eyes, Double Dragon are set to bolster their rising popularity with the imminent release of their highly anticipated debut EP, 'Have Them Destroyed".

Featuring five tracks of mosh inducing metal, 'Have Them Destroyed' will turn heads far and wide with it's mix of sheer heaviness combined with melodic accessability.
