emperor jones is an alias of John Duffin, songsmith, for his musical creations of solo and collaborative effort.  Resident in Adelaide, South Australia, yet somehow present in other places by virtue of the interweb.  The world of emperor jones is a curious place: a varied lyrical terrain punctuated with musical recesses of the quirky kind.  As well as spurious excursions into commercial soundbites and irregular anthems, this site showcases excerpts of the forthcoming quintuple concept album corpus emporium, a magnum opus assembled over the past twentyyears, which is due for release in early 2009.
