Genre:Rock

Formed in September of 2000, Adelaide based four piece high energy rock band Ethyls Wreck have set out to establish themselves as one of the premier bands that will lead the next generation of Australian talent on to the world stage. With a versatile sound that breaks the stereotype and crosses all genres of music, from high energy blends of rock, punk and new age, Ethyls Wreck have a song to suit any audience, in any surrounding.

Unwilling to sit around waiting for a record deal and unafraid to roll up their sleeves and take a chance, Ethyls Wreck spent the next 2 years writing songs and testing them relentlessly on live audiences. Not to be held back by a few line up changes, Ethyls Wreck persevered with a search for the talented and dedicated musicians needed to complete the current line-up, and hit the studio in late August 2004 to record the band's latest E.P.

Since the beginning, Ethyls Wreck have enjoyed a strong presence on the local music scene as well as many well received shows interstate. Ethyls wreck have also been featured on many local and international radio stations including, 3D Radio, 4ZZZ in QLD, Triple J and even a few stations in Rio De Jeniro & Sau Paulo Brazil. The first single from the new EP entitled “Don’t Believe” is now on daytime rotation on NOVA 919 in Adelaide.

While Ethyls Wreck enjoy the challenges of studio work, the band admits that they are eager to shift their focus back to performing live to promote their new e.p. The Wreck have fine tuned their live show and are gearing up for a guerilla marketing campaign, national release and tour  to introduce the new material to the public.

Driven by a passion for writing high energy, dynamic rock music and rocking a live crowd with an intense stage show at any opportunity, The Wreck as they are known by their fans, will never stop.
