After 10 years, 2 singles, 4 EPs and a full length LP, Adelaide Hard Rock act Fighterpilot will play their final ever show on the 19th November at the Edinburgh Castle Hotel.

With all members moving onto other musical endeavours, this final gig is the chance for the band to say a big 'Thank You' to everyone who has supported them over the years.

"We are really proud of what we achieved" says Guitarist Simon Schell, "From our first gig at The Gov in 1999, through the tours, all the recordings and some of the really great gigs like  supporting Grinspoon, we are truly grateful to those who have supported us - especially those that have stuck with us from the start. This show at the Ed is a thank you to all of them"

Forming out of the ashes of rockact Half Baked in 2000, Fighterpilot went on to forge a strong  reputation as a live act  through regular shows both in Adelaide and nationally. With influences  ranging from Van Halen to Queens of the Stoneage,  Fighterpilot  developed an individual sound which showcased the band's musicianship and strong songwriting. The band's second EP was released nationally  through MGM and later single 'World Can't Touch Me' received national radio airplay through NOVA prior to the release of the LP Silver Bullet...in 2009.

Fighterpilot will be joined on the night  by good friends Tracer, hot on the back of their recent European Tour, and post-rock pioneers Andy Roberts.
