Lady Strangelove are four brothers who love creating music and having a good time. They treat each song as it's own journey, fusing their eclectic influences of rock and electronica into an adventurous sonic concoction of psychedelia.  This approach to music accompanies an energetic live show that incorporates wall-melting lights & projected visuals, making for a colourful cinematic experience of sound and moving images.

Since forming in Adelaide in 2006, they have had the opportunity to share the stage with a diverse range of both national and international artists, including: The Black Keys (USA), Black Mountain (USA, hand picked by the band themselves for their "In The Future" Australian Tour), The Temper Trap, Wolfmother, Helmet (USA), Trans Am (USA), The Mighty Boosh's DJ Mike Fielding AKA Naboo (UK), Tame Impala, Midnight Juggernauts, The Drones, PVT (formerly 'Pivot'), Bob Log the Third, The Mess Hall and Children Collide to name a few. They have also performed at the various festivals such as the Meredith Music Festival, Laneway Festival and the Big Day Out Green Stage.

Their last EP, 'Freakquencies' was recorded & mixed by Tom Barnes (Empire of the Sun, Mark of Cain) at Mixmasters, & mastered by aria-award nominee Danny Bonnicci (The Crystal Method).

They have just been to record their 3rd EP in early November 2010 at Radiostar Studio's in Weed, California USA, with acclaimed producer/engineer Sylvia Massey. Massey has produced, recorded & mixed the albums ‘Opiate' and 'Undertow' by Tool, and worked with an array of diverse artists such as Johnny Cash, R.E.M, Beastie Boys, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Slayer, Prince, System Of A Down, Sonic Youth, Aerosmith, The Black Crowes, Smashing Pumpkins & Bjork.

After falling in love with the 4 EP tracks Sylvia requested the EP become an album. Lady Strangelove will jet back over to Weed, to finish the next lot of songs for their debut album due mid 2011. The 4 completed tracks will be released over the next few months as singles with coinciding tours leading up to the album’s release.

They will be doing a Homecoming show at Jive on Saturday 18 December with guests The Rules,  Two Suns.
