Imogen Brave is a fusion of genres, opinions and flavours. As with the rest of the band Singer Stef would describe her musical influences as widespread + eclectic: jazz and blues, grunge, rock and pop; everyone from Nirvana to Al Jolson, No Doubt to early Mariah Carey, Led Zeppelin to Metallica.

After five years of song-writing, and a plethora live shows all across Adelaide's rock venues, Imogen Brave have finally completed their debut EP 'Open Heart' to be released at their upcoming Launch Party at the Enigma Bar, Saturday 1st October 2011.

With the title drawn from one of the release's key tracks 'Love Is Like (Open Heart)', the EP features five of the band's favourite tracks from their live set, exploring the sordid diaries of vocalist Stef Crowley through love, lust, loss, fear, and scorn. Showcasing Imogen Brave's signature hard rock meets pop sound, this record is an imprint of the band's stylistic progression to date, and just a taste of the many great things to come.

The 'Open Heart' EP Launch Party, to be held at the iconic Enigma Bar on Hindley Street, will be the first opportunity for friends, family and fans to get their mitts on the CD. Attendants will be treated with a fantastic live show from Imogen Brave, as well as two fantastic support acts Jimmy Marin and Vanity Era.
