Adelaide indie outfit, She Said You, are preparing for the national release of their second EP, “Faces”, in 2011. The band is set to tour the country from July, and throughout 2012.

She Said You combines Greg Horan, David Peter Britvec and Simon Marafioti; three musicians who have formed an unyielding bond. With varying influences (The Doors, Dave Matthews Band, Pink Floyd) and experiences, the group share a common vision and appreciation for their creative output.  She Said You have shared stages with Eskimo Joe, You Am I and The Vasco Era, and are developing into a captivating act.

The band has spent the last six months writing and recording their second EP, with a focus on capturing the raw essence and emotion of a She Said You performance. This time around, the group recorded all five tracks live at Mixmasters Studios, Adelaide, with local engineer Tom Barnes. Vocals were laid down at the band’s home studio and the project was produced by Anthony Marafioti and She Said You.

All five tracks on the “Faces” EP were recorded live, capturing the raw essence and emotion of a She Said You performance. The band has produced a fresh new sound on the EP with carefully considered arrangements accentuating undeniable hooks. (You are listening to  ‘Another Season’, the first track off the upcoming EP).

She Said You will be performing an exclusive EP Preview Showcase to invited Media and guests at The Promethean on Friday June 17th. The band will then officially launch the EP in Adelaide on Friday 22nd July at The Ed Castle before touring the country from July, and throughout 2012.

“Faces” is due for release nationally in July.
