Bursting onto the Adelaide music scene in early 2011, Little Two Eyes are an angelic alternative pop band; brutally delicate and mood driven arrangements juxtaposed against fragile and explosive moments, and a gritty live energy that lingers with you long after you've left the venue. Along with Miami based producer Kramer they've created an exciting debut EP, set for release 3 March during the Fringe Festival.

Bands On Track has named fifteen SA bands for their starting lineup - three have earned a place on the 2012 Clipsal 500 Concert Stage! Finals were held at Fowler’s Live in January to determine the winning acts. Each night a group of industry judges selected one band to perform to an audience of thousands, with full concert production, backstage rider, and guest tickets thanks to Adelaide Clipsal 500. Christian Oliver & Mr Goodnight are one of the hot acts to watch in 2011. Effortlessly blending a mix of Soul, Funk, Pop and RnB, there is an obvious focus on quality song-writing and technical ability of their chosen instruments. 2011 has been a huge year for the band, and they are set to release their new EP ‘For You’ at the very same venue they played their first gig: The Crown & Sceptre on 16 December.

Dipping into the classic early '70s sounds of America, "Another Place In Time" is the debut album for Adelaide troubadour Snooks La Vie, who has been a prominent figure on the roots circuit for the best part of fifteen years. Credited for his soulful vocals and authentic delivery of the harmonica, Snooks La Vie has quietly secured the endorsement of the Australian music industry and proudly counts many contemporaries including Troy Cassar-Daley, Renee Geyer and Ross Wilson as fans.

Fusing Dylan and Young inspired lyrics with beats like The Band and Dr. John, The Bakers Digest deliver their take on the folk-rock revival. They're taking it on the road in November, where they'll start by playing the inaugural Kangaroo Island Surf Music Fest, followed by a 'Digesting Victoria' tour mid month.

Based in Adelaide, The Killgirls are a 5-piece indie/electro band with teeth, making music for party people. They have played up to the ecstatic mayhem of the 2010 Fringe Opening Party in front of 40,000 people, scored a Boiler Room spot at the Big Day Out in 2011 and played The Clipsal 500 2011, as well as many other shows around the country. They have shared stages with Crystal Castles, MSTRKRFT, Die Antwoord, Bloody Beetroots, Art VS Science and Oh Mercy!, have enjoyed syncs with Suburu, The Commonwealth Games and the AFL, will be taking the stage at the 2011 Parklife in Adelaide on October 3, are supporting Dead Letter Circus on the NO FRACKING WAY Tour in November, and this, as they say, is just the beginning.

Adelaide metal outfit, ISAW is continuing its rise to notoriety with the band announcing it will release its much anticipated album, THE IDENTITY on Friday the 7th of October. The band has also announced it will launch the new album at the Cavern Bar (North Tce, Adelaide) on Friday the 11th of November...11/11/11! ISAW’s style is defined by their passion for numerous genres of metal, creating a canvas where a veritable variety of ideas can coexist. They aspire to create music that pushes their individual creative and physical boundaries while maintaining a delicate balance of musicality and song craftsmanship.

Imogen Brave is a fusion of genres, opinions and flavours. As with the rest of the band Singer Stef would describe her musical influences as widespread + eclectic: jazz and blues, grunge, rock and pop; everyone from Nirvana to Al Jolson, No Doubt to early Mariah Carey, Led Zeppelin to Metallica. They launch EP 'Open Heart' on 1st October at Enigma with Vanity Era + Jimmy Marin.

JoE mAn MuRpHy brings a unique and exciting style of music. Born and bred in Ireland JoE mAn brought the Celtic and folk influences of his home country and made Australia home. Merging styles with blues and roots JoE mAn's eagerly awaited debut album will be released September 17th at the Wheatsheaf Hotel.

Hawks of Alba are releasing their debut EP "Dear Punk Rock, Sorry I said all those nasty things about you" in September, with the launch happening on Saturday 10th September at the Grace Emily. Songs from the EP have already been well received with 'Cut You Out' the leading single, receiving airplay on Triple J and community radio stations around Australia; and 'Over Before it Ended' featuring on the ABC2 series "twentysomething" (airing September 6th 2011).

Adelaide based contemporary-folksters Traveller & Fortune play bittersweet folk songs. Lilting melodies, subtle and soaring harmonies, saxophone, double bass, keys, ukulele and mandolin combine to create something unique: Something big and dark and folky; something whimsical; something that would tie itself to a bunch of helium balloons and try to fly. They will be releasing a new collection of songs on Sunday 7 August 2011 at the Jade Monkey.

Hip hop crew Mase N Mattic have already gained a reputation for explosive live performances, both locally with the likes of Hilltop Hoods, Drapht, Funkoars, Urthboy & Phrase, and nationally as the supporting act for the sellout M-Phazes "Good Gracious" tour. With their highly anticipated debut album 'Sound The Horns' set for release from 15 July, their strong fledgling following is sure to rapidly grow.

AAnticipation has been brewing for the release of Nat and Sienna’s self titled debut album. Having been warmly received at shows throughout Australia and the UK, the song writing duo are set to release their album on 30 June in their hometown, Adelaide, before hitting the road to play for their interstate fans.

Adelaide indie outfit, She Said You, are preparing for the national release of their second EP, “Faces”, in 2011. The band is set to tour the country from July, and throughout 2012. She Said You have shared stages with Eskimo Joe, You Am I and The Vasco Era, and are developing into a captivating act.

Up & coming HipHop artist Colin Darcy AKA Caper is proud to announce the launch of new video clip 'How Would You Like To Be Me', produced with Richard Coburn who has worked with the Hilltop Hoods' amongst many others. The clip was launched on 16 May on the Facebook Caper Group Page, and is now up on YouTube for everyone to see. Caper explains that the song is about stereotyping, racism & discrimination from his own life experiences, with the title of the song/clip poignantly bringing home this point.

Described as the love child of John Mayer and Jamiroquai, Brenton Foster Band fuses pop sensitivity and sentiment with insatiable grooves and melodies. You can catch their next Adelaide show on Friday 13th May when they enjoy their long awaited return to fine music venue, The Promethean, with support by fellow local act, Georgia Germein.

Alt. Rock act Two Way Radio announce their arrival on the Adelaide scene with their debut EP, T-Shirts Fade. Part funded by state government body Arts SA, their release was recorded, mixed and co-produced by local Industry legend Matt Hills, with the final sprinkling of fairy dust made available by John Golden in California who single-handedly mastered some of the finest alt rock albums of the '90s.

Strathalbyn's very own folk and alternative country artist, Jamie McPherson, is gearing up to launch his debut album, Meeting Place. The much anticipated album, which has been 3 years in the making, will be launched at The Singing Gallery (in an all ages show) on Sunday 3rd April for his CD Launch and 40th Birthday Bash. The show starts at 2pm and includes special guests Matt Reiner, The Self Preservation Society, Pasquale, Dave Clark plus the poetry of Tikarma Vodicka. That's a full afternoon's entertainment in the picturesque surroundings of McLaren Vale.

Thrash metallers, A Murder of Crows (AMOC) have kick-started 2011 with full momentum and have much more in the works for the rest of the year. AMOC recently secured the support act for American Heavyweights 'Darkest Hour' and 'Carnifex' with Double Dragon as part of their Australian tour and are currently preparing for their own Australian, east coast tour.

Adelaide roots and blues act, Gracewood, are gearing up to launch their debut album, Chapter One - Sound Pilgrim's Way. The much anticipated album, which has been 18 months in the making, will be launched at the Queens Theatre (in an all ages show) on Saturday January 29th.

After a busy and productive year the band is immensely excited to be launching their debut, self-titled LP at Jive on January 14, 2011. The album was recorded and mixed by the band in collaboration with Evan James (The Mark of Cain, Pharaohs) and mastered by John Golden (Sonic Youth, Melvins, Comets On Fire).

Lady Strangelove are 4 brothers who love creating music and having a good time. Local gal group The Fridays are launching their debut EP called "Woh Oh!"… but the question on everyone's lips is "What's with the bee??" Those who caught the Music SA Contest Corner back in September might have an idea, but for the rest of you, you'll find the answer at The Wheatsheaf Hotel on Friday 29th October. These folk rockers will be parading their much loved bee buddy who is said to be creating quite the 'buzz', and will be helping to launch the CD.

Spearheading Australia’s funk-revival movement, Solartricity fuses soul and pop with the grooves of yesteryear. They are part of the 'funk' showcase lineup of this year's Coopers Alive festival, playing with People Say and Mr Goodnight at the Promethean on Saturday 23 October.

Dexter Jones, a four-piece alt-pop-rock act from Adelaide, has teamed up with Tim Pine to produce a film clip for their latest single 'DCF'. Without giving too much away, the clip involves clowns trashing kids parties and bikini girls with over a cast and crew of 40 - it’s turned out to be one hell of a spectacle and they can't wait to celebrate its release on 13th August at the Ed Castle.

Self Preservation Society is the solo outing for Tristan Newsome who has been scouting the fringe of the Adelaide music scene for a while now in different guises. On the 24th of June 2010 he will be putting on a double EP launch at the Grace Emily. Both EPs showcase strong and colourful song writing skills and get right back to the heart of what a lot of traditional music is about – storytelling.

High energy four piece folk-rockers The Timbers have a very busy 2010 planned and they can not wait to bring their high energy acoustic rootsy folk rock to a larger audience! The band is riding high on the success of their Adelaide Fringe Festival Season, an OFF THE COUCH show, and winning the “Best of Derringers” band competition in May.

The ReadyMades are an Adelaide three piece band, who got together in November, 2006. They play an eclectic collection of original songs that reflect the member's wide range of musical influences with a twist of fun. The ReadyMades have been compared to such artists as Blondie, Patti Smith, Red Hot Chili Peppers and The Grates, to name a few. Although such diversity makes it difficult to pigeonhole their sound, The ReadyMades describe themselves as pop, punk, funk, story telling genre benders.

Named after their favourite St Kilda cafe, Galleon, A four-piece, Australian, Indie-rock band was born in mid 2008. Fronted by vocalist/guitarist Nick Deegan, with drummer Ryan Robinson, bassist Tim Anderson and guitarist Brad Iversen, they spent the best part of 2009 writing and recording what would be their debut release, a small collection of songs hand-picked out of roughly 30 other songs which were written alongside them.

Old rock and rollers they might claim to be, but HOY-HOY! are not in twang heaven yet. The Texas blues styled 4 piece play a mix of original and good time music called New Blues. Songs about iconic venue, The Largs Pier hotel in its rock venue heyday, and other local icons are only a small part of the music. Two guitars, bass and drums and a good time feel add up to make the band SA's premier R&B act.

The British Robots are set to release their long awaited debut EP. The band, who were winners of the '09 SA National Campus Band Comp, have been working with producer Matt Hills (Wolf & Cub), and the track 'Favourite Shade' has already hit number 1 on Triple J Unearthed's pop chart. The launch is set for Sat 3rd of April at the Jade Monkey, with The Honey Pies and Chris Lloyd & The London Road Poets.

Adelaide's garage dwelling fuzz freaks, The Molting Vultures are coming off a very busy 2009 where they released their third album Drop In and Go, were nominated as one of the favourite 30 local bands over the past 30 years by 3D radio subscribers and announcers a well as winning the number 1 spot in the 3D radio Top 100 plus 1 for the year. On top of this they also added Giles Barrow (ex Exploding White Mice) and Suzy Ramone (ex Ramonettes) to the lineup and played the most gigs they have ever played in a calendar year.

Songstress Courtney Robb is set to release her much anticipated 2nd LP "Amid The Noise And The Haste" on Fri 12 Feb at the Promethean. Since the release of her debut album, "Unarmed" in 2006, Courtney's fans have been waiting with baited breath for their next taste of her delicately crafted, down to earth songs. After packing in the day job and travelling and performing around Australia for 18 months, Courtney had enough inspiration and new material to put together a new album.

The Neverbells are the music brainchild of some of Adelaide's most well known independent musicians who have come together to create a new blues, pop and folk fusion and release their debut EP Dreamland at The Grace Emily on Saturday 6th February.
