The Fridays provide your ears with a fresh energy to Folk Rock reminiscent of The Indigo Girls. They comment on the things that make you smile, the things that make you cry and the things that make you laugh so hard you wet your pants! These girls’ particular brand of fun blends gutsy guitar riffs and fabulous harmonies alongside their ‘no bullshit’ attitude to life, love and beer.
Hailing from Adelaide ‘The Fridays’ have recently played at Adelaide’s Feast, Fuse and Fringe Festivals, have held a #1 Chart position on the Triple J Unearthed Roots charts and released their debut EP ‘Wo h Oh’ late 2010 .
The duo will be finishing 2011 with a Farewell Tour along the East Coast in September and October as they temporarily part ways to travel the world and discover all the oysters that lie ahead. But never fear, that Friday’s kinda love will still be spread…after all, who doesn’t like a Friday??
