Hektic Biography

Hektic

Genre:Beats, HipHop

HEKTIC
Hektic is a Hip Hop artist, Writer Producer and Emcee who writes and performs all his own music with a uniquely Australian flavour.
Energetic, relevant and uncompromising, Hektic is a distinctive, fresh voice on the Hip Hop scene.  His original productions are simple yet effective but tell a succinct story; often with a touch of humour or satire.
Hektic has regularly appeared on Radio Adelaide’s Hip Hop Mania with MC Frost and 100.5 WOW FM’s The Beach House with Jahmin and Sema4 Sirens with Lord Byron.  His music has been featured on many radio stations including: 92.7 Fresh radio; 88.1 Coast FM;  and 93.7 Three D Radio.
Hektic aims to reach a broader audience to challenge the stereotypical Hip Hop audience; a genre often associated with Guns, Drugs, Denigration of women and the Criminal element.
Hektic has appeared on mixtapes, started a label and released 3 albums including D.R.U.Z.E. "Made In Australia", "The Hustle Street Album" and his own debut "The Outsider".
In the wake of the success of these releases Hektic has performed extensively nationally including shows in Sydney, Brisbane and Adelaide.  He has shared the stage with many talented artists including N.J.E., Slim (from 112), Poetikool Justice, NikoLai, Acizm, Adroit Effusive and DJ Shep and has collaborated with Internationally renowned Emcees, including Okwerdz (USA), Tycotic (NSW), Acizm (QLD) and N.J.E.
