Illicit Eve Biography

Illicit Eve

Genre: Pop/rock

Illicit Eve have come a long way since they released their debut album in 2005.

Emily Smart and Fliss Freeman are the female leads of the fashionable and enterprising rock duo. Blessed with super-talented musicians, whose dexterity on guitar provides a further string to their bow, Illicit Eve is more than your average rock group. When Illicit Eve is in full flight, with its mix of powerful rock and rhythmic pop, the show is dramatic, the music adventurous and the result imaginative. Smart's unique stylish voice and Freeman's funky bass riffs makes this one band that commands your attention.

Show Us Your Riffs Contribution:

TRACK 3
“Charades” 3:47
The track “Charades” is heavily laden with guitars providing the listener with a fat rock sound. Guitar lead breaks and low tuned bass give the track a menacing and powerful feel. While their sound could be compared to “Killing Heidi” or “Veruca Salt” the track “Charades” is less predictable, with interesting twists, turns and timing, reflecting the lyrical subject matter with uses games as a metaphor for relationships.
