Jude Elliot is one of Australia's most outstanding original female singer/pianist/guitarists with a knack for exploring emotional depths within a rich tapestry of sound, she brings to life her music with warmth and clarity.

For five years Jude has been performing live acoustic gigs and at festival concerts, developing her unique and recognisable style of poetic rock. Blending classical strings and piano with earthy percussion and intricate guitars. Her current line up includes Morris Mannella on drums and David Costa on guitars.

Influenced by the likes of Jeff Buckley, Coldplay and Elbow, Jude's style embodies a contemporary acoustic feel that moves from warm jazzy grooves through to darker rock.

An ARTSA and SAYAB grant recipient for the recording and distribution of her work, Jude is signed to Fogsongs publishing
and has recorded both in Australia and in the USA.

Jude was a finalist at the Australian Music Week industry showcase in Sydney of the most outstanding unsigned artists in the country and also a finalist at the 2006 APRA PD Awards.

She has performed gigs with the likes of Monique Brumby, Evermore, Clare Bowdich and the Feeding Set, Tyrone Noonan (George), Kate Miller-Heidke and was the former lead singer of the rock band The J's. Jude has upcoming gigs with Jon Stevens, Heather Frahn and has been booked for this years Peat's Ridge Festival and the 2007 Caberet Festival. She will also be performing at the 2006 Louder then Words Music SA Showcase.

Jude composed the music score for the theatre production The Boys at the George Theatre, has written classical instrumental scores for short films, visual art installations and has also recorded vocals for UK producer Tim Ericson for My Beautiful Disease.

Jude has completed her cd for national release in January 2006 with the first two singles "starry night" and "little things" to be released on itunes and to radio in Novemeber 2006.
