What do you think of when you hear the music of Laura Hill?

You think..... the smell of coconut and pineapple, sunshine, the sound of rain on your roof, a road trip with your loved ones or friends, the waves on the beach, the ice cream man coming down your street.

Laura Hill is a refreshing unique musical cocktail from Adelaide Australia. Her songs seem to stir up a lot of different feelings and emotions.

'Life is to short', Laura's musical story begun when her Mother nearly died  of sickness after her recovery, Laura travelled around the world and when returning decided to listen to her heart and fuel the fire in her belly and take a skip down the musical path.

Influenced by her surfing lifestyle, travel, nature, people and life experiences Laura's sound is unique, honest, quirky and memorable.

Armed with an acoustic guitar and beautiful vocals, Laura's music can be lively and entertaining with her Band 'The Tuesday Bandits' or stripped back solo and very raw and intimate. Securing national airplay for all three songs off her first EP on Nova, Triple j and the ABC She is riding one big wave into the hearts and ears of people.

What are  people saying?

'Laura Hill is an up-and-coming songsmith who intelligently combines her beautiful voice and superbly written songs with her quirky personality and elements of the surf culture in which she was brought up. Definitely an artist to keep an eye on.'

Matt O'Connor
Director The Australian Independent A&R Department

'Laura Hill makes me wish I lived in a sunny warm country so I could sit in the park with a selection of fine wines to choose from and a girlfriend to share them with. Laura is a real talent mixing good song writing with a beautiful voice. I hope she comes to London soon'
