Laura Hill is a refreshing unique musical cocktail from Adelaide, Australia. Her songs seem to stir up many different feelings and emotions.
Laura’s musical story begun when her Mother nearly died due to sickness. After her recovery, Laura travelled around the world and on returning decided to listen to her heart and fuel the fire in her belly and take a skip down the musical path. Life is too short.
Influenced by her surfing lifestyle, travel, nature, people and life experiences. Laura’s sound is engaging, honest, light hearted and memorable.
Armed with an acoustic guitar and beautiful vocals, Laura’s music can be lively, entertaining and a lot of fun (with her Band The Tuesday Bandits) or raw and intimate in stripped- back solo mode.
After releasing her sold out 3-track EP in 2007 and receiving airplay on Triple J, ABC and Nova, her debut album “Over My Shoulder”—made in conjunction with Sydney- based producer Ian Pritchett (Angus and Julia Stone, The Beautiful Girls)—is out now through MGM Distribution.
