Lovers of 80's synth pop and the 90's shoe-gazer movement, Little Two Eyes are a delicate and brutal alternative pop band with punch. Combining mood driven arrangements, fragile and explosive moments with a gritty live energy, Little Two Eyes have a presence that lingers with you long after you've left the venue.
A soft whisper and a raging soul, Emily Smart’s vocals and guitar are complimented by the ominous tones of her cousin Isabella Fyfe’s Cello and backing vocals. Hamish Cox provides the dark synths and piano textures which soar over the volatile rhythm section of Matt Nikic on bass, and newcomer, Alex Bishop on drums.
Their single 'All The White Horses', recorded and produced by Jarrad Payne, has been featured on national and community radio and television stations around Australia including Triple J, ABC, Nova & Rage.
Thanks to a recording grant from Arts SA, Little Two Eyes have spent the last few months of 2011 in the studio crafting their debut EP, mixing their tracks in Miami with shoe-gazer pioneer producer KRAMER. Little Two Eyes debut EP - All the things I never told you and why, is now finished, with the band is working towards its launch in March 2012.
