Love Cream
Genre:Sex Rock, Sexual Pop
"If you could summarise Love Cream in one word it would be Lovecream" - Band manager and lead bassist Phillip Tziortzis
You can trace the origins of Love Cream back to the very moment that the constituent members were conceived by their respective mothers and fathers. Thats just an axiom.
Yes, from that first contact with coitus, the band was destined, or perhaps fated, to rock the balls off audiences school-wide with their epic blend of sex and rock. Sex Rock.
The band would not be formed until mid-2010, when Gallo "the Tap" Gallo and Nick Robinsonwould meet up with Phillip Tziortzis in home economics class and decide to initiate this testosterone-fuelled deuce-ace, specialising in writing classic tunes and excess verbiage.
After penning their first classic, "She's A Smokin' Bitch", the Threesome became the Fourgasm with the arrival of Will Plagakis, vocalist and ADIDAS enthusiast.
The undeniable chemistry was not deniable.
They quickly wrote the poignant "Spray My Love (All Over Your Face)", following which they enlisted "Farmer" Dan Sparks, to take the drum throne whilst Gallo was singing, and thus ushering in a new epoch for the 'Cream.
The now fully complete line-up appeared as such:
- Gallo "The Tap" Gallo - Lead Vocals, Lead Drums
- Will "Hair of the Wog" Plagakis - Lead Vocals, Lead Rhythm Guitar
- Nick "Skippy the Bush" Robinson - Lead Guitar
- "Farmer" Dan Sparks - Lead Drums, Lead Rhythm Guitar
- Phillip "Phoot-Long" Tziortzis - Lead Bass
It was with this line-up that they conquered the 2011 Burnside Battle of the Bands, taking first place and subsequently and awkwardly following women's rights activists on their infamous93.7fm Three D Radio interview and gig, and filling out the Crown & Anchor on their first pub gig. They munched the limited selection of curries at Glen's 18th and munched even more afterwards.
They created such beautiful music as the thought provoking "Hung in Hong Kong", the euphemism, steam-engine driven "Love Train", the forgettable "Why Not Me?" and the sentimental fan favourite hetero-glossia, "Hot in the Dark"
A lot can be said about Love Cream, heck, just ask their multitudionous groupies and their one fan, Eric. But they believe the music speaks for itself, and they'll leave it up to you to pass judgement. If you don't believe them, check out their various web pages:
