The Molting Vultures

The Molting Vultures are a dirty psychedlic/ surf/ punk band that likes to make some noise through a fuzzbox, bash the keys on the Organ and resort to a Theremin when they feel the need.  This is a 6 piece band who like to make a bloody racket and have some fun while they're doing it.  

The MVs continue to offer the crowd the chance to get up and play the theremin at every show and often provide free beer to those punters game enough to have a go.

The MVs had a landmark year in 2006 with the release of  'This Won't Hurt a BIT...' which reached Number 1 on the 3D charts in its first week and was also a Feature Release with 3D.  They also supported their long time heroes Radio Birdman at The Gov, as well as Mach Pelican (in Vic and SA) and Guitar Wolf in 2006.   

They have just released the new full length album 'Get A Grip' in July 2007 which is now availabe at Big Star records.  Get A Grip was recorded by Matt Hills at Hillside Recording Studios.
