Nadjeksa Biography
Nadjeska are a local Adelaide band playing a funky fusion of jazz and pop to placate even the most chorus loving individual. Nadjeska were a former acoustic two-piece, with Nadia (so this is the one with the chorus?) on voice and Joel, (Ring a ding ding, you're speaking to the king!) on guitar. The Nadjeska family of flowers has grown to now include Luke (peace out player!) on bass, and Dani, (drumming is better than dolls) on her shiny white kit.
Influences
The four members of Nadjeska have different individual influences that include everything and almost anything. Most music that's 'good' but some music that's 'bad'. (That would mostly be Nadia's collection.) Luke is the resident 'muso' so talk sweet, sweet musical progressions to him and youll be right up his tree. Joel is a bit of a metal head with a twist of jazz and a nice voice for surfy pop. Dani is a punker from way back, (who knows that punk is dead and there's more to life). The Bands combined influences include everything from old school jazz to new school jazz. Pretty pop songs to pumped up punk. We also like a little easy listening (mostly in the car) and who doesn't have a favourite Beatles song?
Shall we Play?
The four individual, yet musically entwined members of Nadjeska are travelling down the 'A-cow-stick Path of Funk' together, and hope to play for you in youre neck-of-the-garden soon.
