Nobu is an Adelaide-based Japanese singer/songwriter, whose special blend of bluegrass with a Japanese edge has created a sound he describes as "country 'n' eastern."
Featuring songs about his life, relationships, beliefs and hopes, Nobu's songs all convey things that have happened to him during his adventures in Japan, USA, and Australia.
With acoustic guitar, harmonica, stomp box and occasional guests (e.g. fiddle), Nobu has played at the Grace Emily Hotel, Wheatsheaf Hotel, Higher Ground and more, and was recently included on the lineup of the 2009 Whitmore Square Arts Fair.
During the Fringe Festival in 2010, Nobu will play at the Garden of Unearthly Delights, on Saturday 13th March.
