The Peccadillos Biography The Peccadillos
Genre: Pop, Roots
The Peccadillos. A tough one to pigeonhole into a genre as their original tunes are a combination of traditional roots and pop with a little blues thrown in for good measure, but not really. If you know what I mean!?
The line-up is a cross section of Adelaide talent: Patrick Loughrie (Milky Bar Kids) - vocals, Tristan Andrews (GT Stringer, Johnny 7 OMA and session muso for 2 slabs and a pizza) - hammond organ, Brian Morrison (Double Wammy, Loss Romaldo Groove and more) - guitar, Michael Winter (Chris Finnen)- double bass and Andy Spy (GT Stringer, Greasy Gravy) - drums.
They write on such subjects as sweet cool free beer water, having a gay old time (in it's old school sense if anyone can remember back that far!) and other convoluted angles of our existence.
Visually exciting live (but no fire eating as yet) The Peccadillos are a must see. Check them out at your first opportunity.
