"Once upon a time there was a band, and the band was called PUMPERNICKEL"

Pumpernickel are a young South Australian band who formed on the 9th of November of 2003, one week before their first gig.

Their line up was:
Kris Barry - vocals
Jason Coomber - guitar
Joel Torres - guitar
Dan Coomber - bass
Josh Scholz - drums

They were together for about a year, before their line up changed.
At the end of that year Pumpernickel and Josh Scholz departed.
Now they have a new drummer by the name of Sam Wright.
But in that year Pumpernickel achieved recording a 4 track ep. and selling around 300 of them locally. They also played around 30 gigs.

Now they have signed a record deal with Greasy Pop Records, and look to release an album soon.!.
