Red Apparition
Genre:Alternative, Indie
Red Apparition are four music geeks who draw influences from various facets of the musical gene pool delivering an artful bastardisation of grunge, blues, shoe-gaze and indie rock. (whatever that is.)
Often found dragging excesses of musical equipment into your local seedy dive the band has earned a reputation as a solid live act, selected to play Jim Beam’s Bootleg and shows for Carclew’s Off The Couch, including Fuse Festival 2011.
Triple J Unearthed chose “Vano” from the independently released EP “Action, Drama, Distractions & Armour” as a feature track in March 2011, exposing the band to a new and wider audience.
Red Apparition have returned to the studio with producer Tom Barnes (The Transatlantics, The Shaolin Afronauts, The Swiss, The Honey Pies, Leader Cheetah) to record a new EP, with a new single launching on June 10th at The Jade Monkey.
