Slingshot Dragster

Slingshot Dragster are an Adelaide group that formed for the love of 60's Surf'n'Western.  What started out as a communal love of home brewed beer whilst listening to bizarre record collections in rickety old tin sheds, soon developed into the sounds that now emanate from the heart of a small suburb named Trinity Gardens.

Slingshot Dragster have been working on many new songs of their own but there is no mistaking the major influence a Danish band had on them right from the beginning.  Who can deny the unmistakable sounds of The Tremolo Beer Gut.  For more info on them check out their website at www.thetremolobeergut.dk/

So what is the sound of Slingshot Dragster?  A guitar driven band with the sweet sounds of the Farfisa organ, thumping bass lines and furious drumming that will get the heart pounding with anticipation, and the mouth longing for a cold ale.  The Surforama sounds, as they say, should be filed under Old School Surf and Western.
