Soursob Bob has been performing and recording his songs over a ten year period, travelling to folk festivals around the country. He has done this unperturbed by changes in musical fashion, and seemingly oblivious to public indifference and standards of decency. He has played at Celtic music festivals, performing his song “My Afghani Heritage”, and performed political songs at camel races in outback Queensland . His delivery has been described as deadpan, and he has been compared to Billy Bragg and John Schumann. He takes himself very seriously, even if no one else does. He is wanted in five states for these offences and looks like this:

Soursob Bob's next performance will be 

performing at a South Coast Folk Club concert at the RSL Club, Esplanade, Port Noarlunga.Thursday 22nd July. Entry by purchase of $5 raffle ticket.

Soursob Bob is a songwriter and singer from Adelaide, South Australia. He has released seven full length albums and numerous demos. The albums so far are "Living in the Long Grass" , "You don't make me feel Special anymore" ,"Beer for Breakfast" ,  "Don't quit your day job","Someplace Good Already" and "Live at the Wheatty", and "Soursob Bob".You can listen to some of the songs on this musicsa site.

Some Soursob Bob songs will be posted on JJJ unearthed, however they have refused to put up "I've been done over by Telstra", obviously because of collusion between the ABC and Telstra. 

Bob got the sought after job of being singer for the band "Kelshy". At this stage, Kelshy's repertoir consists of Soursob Bob songs performed in rock arrangements. See Kelshy's musicsa listing for more details.

The video clip "Centrelink" was a finalist in the 2009 Sound Kilda competition, which is the video component of the St Kilda Film Festival.
