TRACER are an original Adelaide band who celebrate simple, old-school rock with a modern feel. Michael Brown (guitar and vocals) and Leigh Brown (bass and vocals) formerly of The Brown Brothers (1999-2004), teamed up with drummer, Andre Wise, in late 2004 and TRACER were born.
Working influences such as Grinspoon, Powderfinger, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Foo Fighters into their music, TRACER have developed a strong repetoire of ‘crank it up to 11’ rock as well as emotive ballads.
‘the kind of music you need to listen to loud or drive fast by.’
(Steve Davenport)
With years of experience and many live shows, TRACER are also one of the tightest live bands heard today with an amazing live show that has to be seen to be believed.
‘It would be an understatement to say that this trio has a knack for writing sharp rock songs: they have mastered their trade.’ (Steve Davenport)
In 2007, TRACER plan to record their debut EP and travel interstate to promote their first single. In the meantime though, you can see them at....
