UnprovokedAttack are a 4 piece experimental heavy art-rock band from the Adelaide Hills SA. They've been around for almost 5 years and are still enjoying each other's company.

Sam Cherry - Lead vox/Rhythm Guitar
Luke Cherry - Drums/Percussion
Nathan Holdsworth - Bass
Cass Crichton - Lead Guitar/Vox/Piano

UA has a large range of influences including Tool, Deftones, Silverchair, Helmet, The Beatles, Rage Against the Machine, The Smashing Pumpkins, Faith No More, Muse, At The Drive-In, Mr. Bungle, The Mars Volta, Incubus, Tomahawk, Radiohead and many others.

Originally a soft-core punk band, then an almost full-blown nu-metal styled act, the band's tastes matured and their appreciation of music grew outside of the boundaries it was once contained within. Their song writing slowly became more about an aural experience rather than just a forgettable 3 minute wonder.
